I'm Izzy Cooley, I am a creative with a passion for content creation. I have an Upper-second degree Bachelors degree of arts in Film Production (69 grade average) from The University of Salford based in MediaCityUK.
I have a background in Photography, Editing and Art, I'll pretty much try my hand at anything creative and am looking for my next challenge! I currently live in Leicester, having moved back home from Manchester, however I am very willing to move anywhere with the opportunities that may come and chase new and exciting experiences. I am open to looking for jobs and opportunities in Sports (motorsports), Fashion and lifestyle content creation as these topics are passions and hobbies in my personal life but I am flexible and open to new ideas!

My Story
My passion for Creative media started with my Father, he introduced me to professional photography from the age of 9 teaching me how to shoot wedding photography using Nikon DSLR's and edit to a professional level using Adobe Photoshop. After that I was hooked! I taught myself adobe Lightroom and illustrator. This passion to create carried through to my academic career learning to shoot on a variety of cameras, ranging from the humble Olympus OM10 teaching me the delicate art of film photography to shooting short films and music videos on professional film cameras such as the Canon C200, Panasonic Varicam 35 and the Arri Alexa XT. During post-production I refied my editing skills on Adobe Premier pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, Davinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer.

Aside from Film and TV I have many other passions and interests such as creating art both digitally and traditionally and I follow motorsports closely, predominantly F1 and F2 however I enjoy MotoGP and am always looking to learn more about the world of motorsports and spectator sports in general.

As covered I am skilled and well-versed in a plethora of editing software and have an eye for the perfect shot however I am also a meticulous planner. Before shooting or editing it is incredibly important to me that I have a plan of action, whether that be a shot list, a shooting schedule or location recces. Organisation is one of my strongest attributes in the pre-production stages making me extremely reliable to a wider team. I endeavour to fit into a team seamlessly because as a person I am very friendly and approachable, I'll always go above and beyond for my team and any project set forth for me.

Regarding my professional career, as an introduction to working professionally and working for a client I shot wedding photography alongside my father before university, during my time at university I Photographed for small football teams around the Greater Manchester area as well as shooting a short documentary 'Bury: By the fans, For the fans'. After University I had the opportunity to shadow ITV editor Liam Shanagher in the offline editing process for ITV's TikTok: Murders Gone Viral. This proved to be an invaluble experience in developing my own editing workflow.

I am at the very start of my career and for me I feel the only way is up! I am eager to learn and develop as a creative.
